Jane Bruce

Jane has exhibited her landscapes and etchings since 1987. Her interest in gardening led her to the Chelsea Physic Garden, and there she graduated from The English Gardening School in Botanical Illustration. She has regularly exhibited botanical work since 1999 in various galleries including:- the Ebury Galleries, and Hortus Gallery in London, the Ursus Gallery, in New York, and The Hunt Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsberg, USA Her work is in the following collections: Digitalis purpurea The Highgrove Florilegium (which was created under the umbrella of The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation and celebrates and records the Flora in the garden of Highgrove) Berberis Canadensis The Chelsea Physic Garden Archives Paphiopedilum Dragon’s Blood x Maudiae The Hunt Institute of Botanical Docmentation, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsberg, USA. Her paintings are shown in private collections in Great Britain and Europe and look beautiful when hung in small groups. She now lives and works in West Sussex.
