Melanie's amazing originals are painted on glass. The work is on the reverse of the glass using a technique started in Coatia and is famous for its vibrant colours not possible with anything painted on canvas. From interpreting local landmarks to imagining entirely new dreamscapes, she paints the world as she senses it might be; full of animated spirits, hidden symmetries, and unexpected meanings. We photograph her glass paintings and print them on A2 archival high gloss paper using lightfast inks in limited editions of 150 ready for mounting and framing.
