The Artists

Lou Beckerman

Lou works from her studio in Sussex. Her distinctive designs have been commissioned and published by the Worldwide Fund for Nature, Oxfam, Amnesty International, Friends of the Earth and WH Smith. Her work is regularly exhibited in galleries including the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. Her inspiration comes from the richness of colour and decorative shapes found in the natural form; in wildlife where the threat of extinction has inspired a closer evocative observation, and in the human figure where she is moved by its vulnerability.
