The Artists

Clair is a graduate in fine art printmaking and works from her studio in Brighton. She draws her inspiration from the landscape around her, and from the places she has visited. The paintings are inspired by visits to France, Spain, India and Morocco. She uses a mixture of materials including: acrylic paint, powdered graphite and charcoal, metal leaf, glitter, oil pastels, coloured pencil and even furniture polish to achieve the desired finish. Each piece may have seven or eight separate ingredients.
