Lyndsey Smith

Lyndsey is a Sussex based artist, with drawing the focus of her work. Adding watercolour brings drawings to life. She now been exhibiting line and wash work for thirteen years at Chalk Gallery in Lewes. She has  been a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art since 2016, exhibiting at London’s Barbican, Bankside, Menier and Mall Galleries.

Local history and archaeology interest her. she loves to draw shops and especially pubs, and the life that goes on in, and around them now, and in the past. Her paintings and prints can often be spotted in the establishments that they depict.

Lyndsey is kept busy with commissions. Previous work includes greetings cards for Westminster Abbey, for Canterbury Cathedral, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, The RAF, The Roald Dahl museum, Sandringham, Leeds Castle and Taylor’s Port. She also paints for various Charity Christmas cards each year
